Abstract
In this talk, I will discuss the geometrization of unitarity constraints for physical observables such as four-point S-matrix for effective field theories (EFT) and correlation functions for CFT. There is a universality that emerges in the resulting geometry which is a reflection of the unification of unitarity, locality and symmetries. On the practical side it allows us to constrain the space of coupling constant for higher dimension operators of EFT, and dimensions as well as OPE coefficients in CFT.

Abstract
We coexist with a vast number of microbes—our microbiota—that live in and on our bodies, and play an important role in human physiology and diseases. Many scientific advances have been made through the work of large-scale, consortium-driven metagenomic projects. Despite these advances, there are still many fundamental questions regarding the dynamics and control of microbiota to be addressed. Indeed, it is well established that human-associated microbes form a very complex and dynamic ecosystem, which can be altered by drastic diet change, medical interventions, and many other factors. The alterability of our microbiome offers opportunities for practical microbiome-based therapies, e.g., fecal microbiota transplantation and probiotic administration, to restore or maintain our healthy microbiota. Yet, the complex structure and dynamics of the underlying ecosystem render the quantitative study of microbiome-based therapies extremely difficult. In this talk, I will discuss our recent theoretical progress on controlling human microbiota from dynamical systems and control theory perspectives.

Abstract

Abstract
The covariant density functional theory is mature microscopic theory for studies in low-energy nuclear physics. In my presentation, I will consider recent results obtained within its framework. I will start with the discussion of basic principles of this theory. Then I will focus on the clusterization in light nuclei at zero and high spins and on microscopic origin of this phenomenon. This will be followed by the analysis of superheavy Z = 100-126 and hyperheavy Z > 126 nuclei and related physics issues. The role of octupole deformation, fission, exotic shapes in hyperheavy nuclei and other issues will be discussed. Finally, I will consider the role of different reactions in the crust of neutron stars and how they affect the modification of the composition of the crust with depth.

Deformations of the circular Wilson loop, defect-CFT data and spectral independence

Abstract
Deformations of the circular Wilson loop in N=4 SYM can be viewed as operators of a defect CFT. I will review that and discuss some new results for the expectation value of the deformed circle at weak and strong coupling. I will also present some computations of anomalous dimensions and structure constants.
