"ReCharge 充电派对" 是我作为策展人参与组织的一个Base在Mao Livehouse 的媒体艺术与电子音乐的平台。
4月的这一期是为中国火人节“Dragon Burn"的特别版本，这次活动将为Recharge在Dragon Burn的舞台众筹，文中有详细方式，全部金额将用于舞台的搭建与运输。作为回馈，我们将带着你的愿望，用激光雕刻在木板上，在最后一晚的仪式上，投入熊熊烈焰之中。
而我个人会这次在Dragon Burn上做两个摊的DJ，想到能在大自然和阳光底下放快乐的音乐带着大家一起跳舞，就觉得很开心呐。然后我还会做一个装置叫做“Get Naked 裸呈相见”：在一个封闭的空间里挂着镜子，鼓励大家一个人状态下，与真实的自己独处5分钟。
这期的Recharge的主题是“better to be burn out than fade away 不如从容燃烧”。我依然会做一个实验性的DJ set, 用梵呗与禅的颂唱混合在电子音乐里，配合Visuals，讲述佛法与大梦初醒的人生，所以名字叫《如是我闻》。我特别邀请了棉棉献声颂唱(对，就是那个写《糖》的先锋小说家，她还是中国第一代Rave运动的精神领袖，我说这次合作具有历史意义，是我们这代接过了上一代的旗帜继续用电子乐革命：)

“better to be burn out than fade away"
This sentence was from Kurt Cobain. As we know his band is called “Nirvana”, a burn to be reborn. In this bloomy spring, let’s burn!
He said “Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are”. To be burn out is to live as who we are incisively, embrace our lives in a full-hearted way.
April 28th to May 1st , ReCharge will bring their sound system, Arts installations and Artists shows and performance to the China regional Burning Man festival called the Dragon Burn.
In the tradition of a burn event , there is a huge fire at the last evening . This fire is such a traditional ritual to let your fears, your angers, go away, or your dreams or wishes come true.
So here we talk about “burn”, not just talk a symbolic meaning, but an actual burn!
This is a non commercial festival where each groups, Artists and
participants share their knowledges,experience with passions and gifting spirit. This is an event about peace, love, respect, harmony,freedom, community and back to the great nature. The diversity is the beauty, let different groups present their alternative values which is apart from the mainstream pop culture, industry consumerism.
So here is our attitude as well: We appreciate all the differences, every independent individual with dignity.Because of you guys, the world is colorful and full of vitality and imagination.
At Recharge dragon burn special edition, you can participate to a crowd funding by writing a word or a sentence like a wish to leave, continue, pursue, attain ,reach… or whatever meaningful to you , then we will laser engrave it for you on a wood plate, and it will be burnt at the closing ceremonial fire of the festival.
All the money will go to support Recharge sound system transparently; you can also participate our crowd funding by scan the QR code in the end by details.

“与其苟延残喘，不如从容燃烧"
这句话来自Kurt Cobain，他乐队名字叫做Nirvana涅槃，浴火重生的涅槃。在这个繁花灿烂的人间四月天里，让我们一起从容燃烧。
他还说过“花时间把自己变成别人的样式就是对真我的浪费”。燃烧，是为了淋漓尽致地活出自己真正的样子。
这个四月的结尾(28号-5月1号)，Recharge也会带着我们的艺术家、新媒体艺术装置与电子乐演出来到“龙焰”--中国官方版本的“Burnning Man火人节"，和那个美国在沙漠里的艺术节的传统一样，最后会有一场燃烧的熊熊烈火作为仪式，驱逐我们的恐惧不安与愤怒，点燃我们的愿望与梦想。
于是我们在这里说着“燃烧”，不只是一个象征意义，而是真正的，燃起来!
“龙焰”艺术节袭承“火人节”的传统，是一个非商业非赢利性质的活动。每一个群体、艺术家与参与者，每一个带着禀赋的灵魂能够有机会自由地分享他们的知识、体验以及热情。这是一个关于和平，爱，尊重，和谐，自由，群居，回归自然的盛会，让各种多元化群体有意识地表达他们有别于主流价值观以及流行文化、工业化消费主义的另类态度。
这也是我们的态度：感谢每一种不同，每一个拥有尊严的独立的个体存在。世界因此而丰富充满生命力。
这次Recharge龙焰特别版本也是一个邀请大家参与的众筹活动。大家可以留下你所希望实现的心愿，想说的话，或者文字表达任何对你有意义的东西，我们将用激光雕刻在一块木板上，并承诺在艺术节最后一晚的燃烧仪式上投入烈焰之中。
活动分为线上线下两部分：现场观众可以参与我们的“recharge充电众筹活动”，所有的资金将透明化全部用于Recharge舞台的搭建与运输；而无法来到现场的观众，可以通过扫二维码打赏的方式支持我们，具体规则详见于文末。

Electronic Music and Trans-media arts are artistic and also academic. They match the vibe of our era, become the voice and expression of the time, and imperceptibly turn into a cultural movement.
Recharge would love to create a communication platfrom between audience and artists meanwhile presenting audiovisual parties. We'd like to share and talk about technology of electronic music, pop-culture phenomenon and its related spiritualaity & Transformations of Consciousness.
At the same time, we try to create a dialog between participating artists each time, a chance for communication and sharing, inspiring, chemistry for any further cooperations.
电子音乐和跨媒体艺术是艺术的，也是学术的，它契合时代的震动，正在成为我们这个时代的声音和表达方式，并且正在成为一场潜移默化的文化运动。
Recharge在带给大家带来视听盛宴的同时，也希望建立一个观众与艺术家互动交流的平台，一起来聊一聊与此有关的电子音乐技术、流行文化以及与此相关的精神性的意识转化，同时也为参与的艺术家们创建一个对话与互相交流的契机，彼此有所灵感启发，期待互相之间的碰撞与化学反应。

Pablo and Lulu's journey started in Goa, India and never stopped since then. Playing live in locations like Kuala Lumpur, Bali, Koh Phangan and Shanghai. Showcasing a variety of different organic instruments: didgeridoo, bansuri, mouth harp, handpan, djembe, bawu and others.
They want to bring back the lost feelings of traditional organic music back to the big cities but with a modern twist.
Pablo和Lulu的旅途从印度Goa出发，从此再也没有停下过脚步。他们在吉隆坡、巴厘岛、帕岸岛和上海一路演出。他们用各种乐器来表达：澳洲土著的吹管、印度班苏里笛、口弦、Hang鼓，非洲鼓以及巴乌等等。
他们希望把那些传统原生态的音乐通过现代的方式带回到大城市里，同时带回来的，还有那些已经失落在文明尘土之中的感觉。
DEE : The Man dies every night
Dee:Experimental artist, DJ, founder and vocal of improve project 汨Mii, member of Nojiji, Raying Psychedelic Coalition and Ong. He likes to build surreal psychedelic scenes combine atmospheric sounds and noise with dark drama and performances.
Dee took part in events such as Beijing Design Week, Just Passing By series Exhibition, Raying tours, Utopia Action, etc. Dee had first personal interactive sound performance exhibition at fRUITYSPACE Beijing 2015, and released his first EP and noise toured around China and Tokyo on 2016.

盛迪，先锋艺术家，实验音乐人，DJ。即兴音乐计划汨Mii发起者，光迷幻联盟，Ong成员。作品不拘于形式，现场常以氛围音乐和噪音结合行为，戏剧等表演方式营造超现实的迷噪场景。

A ming: Experimental musician, visual artist, guitarist and vocal of indie band Mirrors. Aming is a multi-instrument player, he also DIY instruments and noise machines.
Aming’s performance is either violent and noisy or quiet and beautiful like moving mountains. He is careless and focus on his own experience. His sound will bring you to different dimensions and spaces, twisting dream and reality.

*LL aka Lochoisound is often like a gallop of rhythms gathered for a trance ceremonial around the fire pit like in the Old times when time never existed . Together with the repetitive drums , the story is permanently writing itself , amplifying at times or others the sound of wind in the tree leaves, the fire crackling, some whispers of unheard talks,
a shout to reunite closer to the fire, some tears and crying filled with fears, some laughs of happiness , poetry and chants & TekNO.
LOCHOI *LL给人带来的音乐感受,就像是来自时间混沌之时,所有人围住熊熊燃烧的火焰一般的迷幻集会。 伴随着循环往复的鼓点,风吹动树叶的沙沙摩挲,柴火劈啪作响,仿佛故事永无止境。
在他的音乐里,你好像也听见有人在你耳边低 语着从未听闻的话语,也似乎有人在靠近这团 由音乐燃起的,歇斯底里的火焰,让人眼里饱 含泪水,或是放声大笑。
Eugenio Altieri
Eugenio Altieri is an Italian sound artist and music producer based in Shanghai. His research is a constant mixing of environmental lo-fi sound recording, with retro and modern music production instruments and technologies, to create a unique, organic sound that he likes to defined Meta Human.Human lofi / Analog Warm / Digital Sharp

Rabbits Never Talk
Rabbits Never talk:An audiovisual project by the curator and visual artist Vanessa Zheng. She is also a subculture researcher and anthropologist, devoted herself into developing her art healing theory through Shamanism and cognitive neuroscience approach.
She has been doing audiovisual arts ( VJ&DJ) during her stay in Europe for years, worked under electronic arts label Sound:Frame in Vienna (AU). Her academic dissertation at UNIBO was about "Digital performance".

Sci - Flyers
SCI-FLYERS Live is a music project brought to life by Shanghai-based DJs SUN (BMSS Records) and ONE-TWO (Dark Moon Tempo). Beginning their friendship first in the dance floor, by sharing the appreciation and passion for psychedelic music, fate brought them together performing as DJs in several occasion, leading to the decision of uniting their musical influences and visions into a Live project. In addition to performing on stages across Middle Kingdom, India and beyond, the SCI-FLYERS are cooking their first full studio production ready to hit the sound systems across the world.
SCI-FLYERS是上海Based的DJ：DJ Sun以及DJ ONE-TWO合作的音乐项目。他们的友谊始于舞池的相遇，基于共同对迷幻音乐的热情与欣赏，命运将他们捆绑在一起作为DJ组合在不同的场所演出，音乐风格影响和理念的组合带领他们走向这个现场的音乐项目。
各自注入的血液补充了这个新生项目的完整性，带着独一无二的风格影响力以及来自不同背景的融合性，这个项目呈现了合成器声音与灵性、神秘主义以及多年散落在舞池中全球声音聚合的律动回忆。

Panos是一位当代艺术家，擅长利用物件的符号组成超现实的装置来对当代人类状态进行批判。
为这个ReCharge的活动，他将会基于设备SL1200MK2现场进行一个特别的创作。MK2将代表House音乐以及电子舞曲文化的艺术符号，从一个单纯的playback设备提升到了一件乐器的高度。
这个装置将成为一种叙事方式，作为DJ文化的符号以及其作为一种无可争议的美学形式。是对于电子音乐和舞蹈文化的价值以及意义，尤其是在当代语境下所扮演的角色的一个探讨。
Panosis a conceptual artist who uses semiotics on (found) objects to compose surrealistic installations that make criticism of the state of contemporary human condition.
For the Recharge event he will be creating site specific compositions based on a Technics SL1200MK2 turntable. The MK2 stands as an artistic symbol of house music and electronic dance culture which elevated it from a mere playback device into musical instrument status.
The installations create narratives that refer to it as a symbol of DJ culture and an undeniably aesthetic object, to comment on the meaning and value of electronic music and dance culture and its role in contemporary life.
