日本人的优点（Merits of Japanese，日本人のメリット）

我发表的《上海人的优点》一文曾经引爆了微信朋友圈。但我今天要说的是日本人。
我去过日本七次，包括旅游和出差。我和日本人有过广泛接触，包括和本集团日本分公司高层的工作交往、曾经为一家日本跨国公司中国区担任管理咨询顾问、给日本一所大学讲过课。可以说，我对日本人的了解程度超过99%的中国人对日本人的了解。根据这些了解，我总结出日本人一些值得我们学习的优点。
当然，限于本人的知识、经验、能力，我的观点可能有失偏颇，请各位补充、指正。
先申明两点：
第一，本文所指的日本人是现代的日本人，而不是半个世纪以前的日本人。
第二，本文列出的是大多数日本人都具有的优点，但不排除个别日本人例外。
Ipublished the "Merits of Shanghainese" a text has been widely spreadover WeChat circle of friends. But what I am going to say today is the Japanese.
Ihave been to Japan seven times, including tourist and business travel. I havehad extensive contacts with the Japanese, including working with seniorexecutives at the Japan branch of my company, served as a management consultantfor a Japanese multinational company in China and made a lecture on auniversity in Japan. It can be said that my understanding of the Japanese ismore than 99% of the Chinese people understanding the Japanese. Based on theseunderstandings, I summarized some of the merits of the Japanese worthy of ourstudy.
Ofcourse, limited to my knowledge, experience, ability, my point of view may bebiased. Your supplement and correction are appreciated.
Iwould like to declare two points:
Firstly,the Japanese referred to in this article are modern Japanese, not Japanese halfa century ago.
Secondly,this article lists the advantages that most Japanese have, but does not ruleout the exception of individual Japanese.
日本人のメリット
私がかいたエッセイ"上海人のいいところ"はwechatソーシャルメディアの間で話題となりました。今回は日本人のいいところについて書きたいと思います。
日本へは観光やビジネス目的で7回行き、日本支社で働く日本人や中国に駐在している日本人、日本での講演の際にたくさんの日本人と知り合う機会がありました。
私の日本人に対する理解については完璧ではありませんが、一般的な中国人よりは日本人の特徴について見識があると思います。知っていて損はないと思うので多くのみなさんに読んでもらえたら光栄です。また私の経験や知識の限界から私の偏見であると思われる場合は、ぜひそれについて意見をいただければと思います。
注意書きとしてここでいう日本人とは今の世代の日本人のことです。日本人のいいところを列挙していますが一般的にいえることでありもちろん例外もあります。
1、敬业
日本人的敬业精神是全球出了名的。
我在为一家日本公司中国分部做管理咨询顾问时，来自日本的中国区总经理要我帮助解决的问题是：如何让中国员工敬业。他之所以要请教我，是因为在日本没有这方面的问题，所以他们也没有多少经验。在日本，老板不必通过奖罚来让员工敬业。因为每个员工都会自觉做到这一点。
我每次去日本都能深刻体会到日本人的敬业精神。不管他们在个人生活方面如何，一旦到了工作岗位，他们几乎是总是那么热情、认真、细致，永远不知疲倦。
1, Dedication to work
Theprofessionalism of the Japanese is world famous.
WhenI was a management consultant for a Japanese company in China, the JapaneseGeneral Manager in China asked me to help solving the problem of how to makeChinese employees dedicated. He has to ask me because there is no problem inJapan in this aspect, so they do not have much experience. In Japan, the bossdoes not have to motivate the employees to work hard, because eachemployee will consciously do this.
Everytime I go to Japan I deeply appreciate the Japanese professionalism. No matterhow they are in their personal life, once they are in the job, they are almostalways so warm, serious, dedication to details, and never tired.
1,仕事に対する献身さ
日本人のプロフェッショナリズムについては有名です。中国にある日本の会社でコンサルタントをしていたときのことです。日本人の社長にどうしたら中国人スタッフにプロ意識を持たせることができるだろうかと聞かれた。日本ではこういった問題はあまりないため、社長は頭を痛めていた。
日本の会社ではスタッフは常に意識を高く持って仕事をしているので上司が部下に対し、やる気を高めるような光景はあまり見られない。みな仕事についたら、真剣に取り組み努力を惜しまず働く。
2、诚信
这里所说的诚信包括三个方面：个人诚信、公司守信、政府廉洁。我不得不说，这三方面日本都名列世界前茅。许多国际组织的研究结果已经证明了这一点。这也导致了中国人一窝蜂到日本去抢购生活用品，包括食品、药品、化妆品。
2, Integrity
Herethe integrity includes three aspects: personal integrity, the companytrustworthy, the government honest. I have to say that these three aspects ofJapan are among the best in the world. The investigation by many internationalorganizations have proved this point. This also led to the Chinese people rushto Japan to buy supplies, including food, medicine, cosmetics.
2,誠実であること
個人や会社レベル、政府や国は汚職などがあまりない。このことについても世界的に見ても日本は汚職があまりない国と言える。それは多くの中国人が日本で爆買いをしていることについて関係がないわけではない。
3、守法
日本几乎做到了路不拾遗、夜不闭户，其犯罪率之低名列世界前列。这在我当法医时就有耳闻。那时我阅读了大量研究全球主要国家“谋杀率”的文章。我不得不钦佩日本社会的治安状态。在日本当法医是最没意思的，因为没有什么案子可做。
3, Law-abiding
Japanis among the safest countries in the world with the lowest rate of crime,ranked the forefront of the world. I got the impression when I was a forensicdoctor. At that time I read a lot of researches on the world's major countriesregarding "murder rate". I have to admire the safe state of Japanesesociety. Working as a doctor of forensic medicine in Japan is the most boring,because there are few crime cases.
3,法令遵守
日本は平和国家である。犯罪率は最低レベルである。日本で法医をしていたとき、世界の犯罪についてたくさんの文献を読んだ。日本社会の平和さについてとても感心しつつ、犯罪件数の少なさから法医としての仕事はまったくやりがいのないものだった。
4、干净
用我的标准来看，日本人几乎是一个有洁癖的民族。每次到日本，我都会发现清洁工在我认为一尘不染的地方认真地擦、抹。日本的卫生间都比许多国家的餐馆还清洁。
4, Neat and tidy
Inmy standard, the Japanese are almost a supernatural nation in terms of neat andtidy. Every time I go to Japan, I will find the cleaners are still rubbing,wiping in places I think spotlessly. Japan's toilet is cleaner than restaurantsof many other countries.
4,清潔さ
日本人として清潔であることは当たり前である。日本を訪れるたび掃除係の人がピカピカになるまで掃除をする光景をよく目にする。
レストランのトイレについてもどこの国と比べても綺麗である。
5、精致
从环境到个人，日本人对精致的追求令我惊叹。一个90高龄的日本妇女也要涂脂抹粉才能出门。就连日本的乡村小酒吧，在精致方面都可以与上海滩最奢华的酒吧媲美。
日本的精致不是通过奢侈与豪华来实现的，它更多的是基于每一个国民对美学的修养以及对生活品质的追求。
5, Exquisite
Fromthe environment to the individual, the Japanese pursuit of exquisite marveledme. A 90-year-old Japanese woman will not go out without making up and dressingnicely. Even the small Japanese bar in remote countryside, in termsof exquisite, can be comparable with the most luxurious bar inShanghai.
Japan'srefinement is not achieved through luxury, it is more based on people'scultivation of aesthetics and the pursuit of quality of life.
5,センスのよさ
日本の風景を見ても日本人のファッションを見てもセンスの良さには驚かされる。90歳のおばあさんでさえも、外出するときにはちゃんとした服装でメイクもする。小さい田舎のパブでさえも上海のオシャレなバーと変わらないくらいである。
日本人のセンスの良さというのは豪華であるということではなく、美しいものを追求し、生活の豊かさを向上しようとするところからくるものである。
6、读书
日本人是一个爱读书的民族。你可以在网上搜到许多国家人均读书率的统计研究报告，其中日本人肯定又是名列世界前列。
我只是凭自己的观察，就能发现日本人在读书方面与中国的巨大差别。在日本地铁中，读书的人非常多。而中国地铁，玩手机者的比率可能是世界第一。
6, Reading
TheJapanese are a nation of love reading. You can search the Internet in manycountries reading rate per capita from statistical research report,which the Japanese certainly is ranked in the forefront of the world.
Youcan find this easily in the Japanese subway, where a lot of passengers arereading, while the Chinese subway, the ratio of playing mobile phones may bethe world's first.
6,読書家
日本人は読書家が多い。インターネットで検索してみても一人当たりに年間読む本の量は世界的に見ても多い方である。地下鉄での移動中、たくさんの人が本を読んでいるが、中国の地下鉄ではみなスマートフォンをいじっている。
7、克己
日本民族有一个特点应该是世界最强，没有之一，那就是不给人添麻烦。这来自日本的教育和传统。给人添麻烦会让他们从心底感到愧疚。
在公共场所和与人交往时，日本人的第一要求不是满足自己，而是不影响他人。
当然，克己如果走向极端，可能导致自杀率的增加。在日本，如果发现官员贪污、学者造假、欠债难还，当事人常常一死了之，根本无颜来面对世人的谴责。
7, Restraint
Japanesehave a characteristic that should be the world's strongest, that is notto give people trouble. This comes from Japanese education and tradition. Todisturbing others will make them feel guilty.
Inpublic places and dealing with people, the Japanese first request is not topursing their own interests, but not disturbing others.
Ofcourse, if this characteristic goes to the extreme, it may lead to an increasein suicide rates due to guilty. In Japan, if the officials are found corrupted,scholars found fraud, people cannot pay their debt, the parties may choose tocommit suicide rather than facing the condemnation of the public.
7,人様に迷惑をかけない
他人に迷惑をかけないことは日本人として一番の優先事項であり、世界的に見ても日本固有の価値観であるといっていい。他人に迷惑をかけることは恥であると小さい頃からそういいきかされて育ってきている教育や文化からくるものであり。
日本人はいづれの状況においてもまず自分の利益を優先することはない。しかし人に対して気配りが行き過ぎてしまい、追いつめられた結果自殺してしまう人も少なくない。公務員の汚職や、ノベル賞受章者の改ざん、借金返済に行き詰まった人などは責任を取って自殺するという選択をとってしまう。
8、团结
日本人的集体主义精神完全超过了西方其他民族，当然也远远超过了中华民族。日本人服从命令、追求合作、崇尚团队，这是全世界有目共睹的。
相对来说，日本人较少内斗。就拿日本的王朝来说，现任天皇为第125任天皇。一个王朝延绵近两千年都没有被推翻，这在世界史上绝无仅有。它也足以说明这不是一个热衷内斗并相互争权的民族。
8, Unity
TheJapanese collectivism is stronger than that of other Western peoples, ofcourse, far more than the Chinese. Japanese obey orders, pursue cooperation,sacrifice for the team, which is the well-known across the whole world.
Japaneseturn to have less fighting internally. Take the Japanese dynasty as an example,the current emperor is the 125th emperor. A dynasty stretches for nearly twothousand years without being overturned, which is unique in the world. It isenough to show that this is not a people who like to fight each other.
8,集団意識
日本人の集団意識というのはどの国と比べても、ましてや中国と比較してもとても強いものである。日本人は上からの命令に従い、チームに貢献し、協力的であり、衝突やあつれきをとても嫌がることは有名である。
皇室は交代することなくおよそ2000年もの間引き継がれてきていることは世界的にみてもとてもまれなことであり、日本人があつれきを嫌がることの現れでもある。
9、善良
如果你是被反日宣传所严重洗脑的，那么，请忽略这一段。
日本人是我见过的民族中，善良程度最高的之一。现以三个亲身经历为例。
一次我在日本东京打的，到达时出租车司机要我按计价器上的钱少给三千日元，理由是他有一小段路绕了一下，为的是避开堵车。其实，我根本不知道他绕路了。另一次，我在日本东京问路。一个日本人硬是陪我走了五分钟，亲自带我找到了我要去的地铁口。
还一次我父亲坐轮椅在日本乘地铁，车站服务人员将一块平板铺在站台与地铁之间，以便让轮椅平稳通过。然后还问我们在哪一站下。到了要下的那个站，已经有地铁人员在同一个车箱出门处等候我们。他们再重复了上面的服务。这说明两个车站已经通过电话通知了对方。这种周到的、人性化的服务让我为之感动。他们知道我们是中国人，却没有一点“反华”情绪。
9, Kindness
Ifyou are seriously brainwashed by anti-Japanese propaganda, please ignore this paragraph.
Interms of kindness, the Japanese are among the best I have ever seen in theworld. Now I just list the following three personal experience as examples.
OnceI took taxi in Tokyo, the taxi driver wanted me to pay three thousand yen lessthan the meterage showed number. He told me he did not take the shortest routein order to avoid the traffic. In fact, I did not know that he was detour.
Anothertime, I asked the way in Tokyo, a Japanese accompanied me for five minutes,personally took me to find the subway I wanted to go.
Anothercase, when my father in a wheelchair was taking subway in Tokyo, the stationstaff put a board to cover the gap between the platform and the train, so thatthe wheelchair could smoothly get through. And then they asked us which stationwe will get off. In the getting off station, there have been subway officers inthe same car waiting for us. They repeated the above services. This shows thatthe two stations have been notified by phone to each other. This kind of thoughtful,kind service really moved me. They knew that we were Chinese, but they did not have any "anti-China" mood.
9,親切である
もしあなたが反日教育を受けて日本に対し敵意を持っている方はどうぞ読まないでください。
親切であるということだけに関して言えば、私の知る限り日本人は世界一である。例えば東京でタクシーに乗った時、タクシードライバーがメーターの金額よりも3000円やすい金額を払うように言ったのである。なぜなら渋滞のため最短ルートをとらなかったからという理由なのだが、私にはそれが遠回りだったことさえ知らなかったのである。
他の例では、東京で知らない人に道を尋ねたら、私と一緒について来て5分ほど道案内をしてくれたことがあった。
さらに、車椅子に乗ってる父と地下鉄に乗ったとき、駅員がホームと電車の溝をカバーするスロープ板を設置してくれた。そして目的地に着いた時には、降りる駅のホームの乗った車両と同じ位置で駅員が待機していてくれた。乗った駅降りる駅で連絡を取り合い、スムーズに車椅子が乗り降りできるサポートシステムがあることにとても感動し、人々は私たちが中国人であることを知っていたが、嫌な対中感情というのは全く感じなかった。
10、低调
日本人不喜欢热闹、自吹、炫耀。这从他们的建筑、服饰、表达、待人中都能感觉到。你不难发现他们的房屋包括皇宫都是以黑色、灰色为主色调。淡雅、沉稳、安静是他们的审美追求。每次去日本，我的心都更加宁静。
10, Low profile
Japanesedo not like loudness, self-blown or showing off. You can feel this from theirarchitecture, dress, expression, and dealing with others. Their houses,including the palace are dark or gray colors. Elegant, calm, quiet are their aestheticpursuit. Every time I go to Japan, my mind gets more quiet.
10,控えめであること
日本人は大声を出すこと、目立つこと、見せびらかすことを嫌う。建物、ファッション、表情、立ち振る舞いを見ても明らかである。日本の家、公邸なども暗めの色が多くエレガント、静寂でありかつ美的であり心を落ち着かせてくれる。
11、节俭
在日本出差，我是不担心自己变胖的。因为日本每餐的食物都让人感觉到“吃不饱“。日本因为资源稀缺，所以，节俭是一个普遍传统。他们的资源回收利用率同样是全球之冠。
11, Thrifty
Travelingin Japan, I do not worry about getting fat. Because the Japanese meal almostlet me feel " not enough to eat."
Dueto the scarcity of resources in Japan, frugality is an universal tradition.Their resource recycling is also the highest in the world.
11,質素倹約であること
日本を旅行中、太る心配は一切ない。食事の量はいつも腹八分目でお腹いっぱいにはならないからである。日本の資源は限られており資源を大事にしようとする意識から質素な生活をすることはある種の伝統である。そのことから、資源の回収とリサイクル率は世界一高い。
12、礼貌
日语中有许多敬语与自谦语。日本人与人打交道时十分讲究礼仪，包括鞠躬、微笑、致谢。
最让我动心的是日本人的微笑。到任何一个日本商店，日本服务员的那种发自内心的、甜蜜的、自始至终的微笑，经常让我怀疑是不是自己“太有魅力“，直到发现她们对其他人也报以同样的微笑……
12, Courtesy
Thereare many honors and self-engraved language in Japanese. When the Japanesedealing with people, they pay particular attention about etiquette, includingbowing, smiling, thanking.
Themost tempting is the smile of the Japanese. In any Japanese shop, theattractive smile of Japanese attendants is so sweet, often making me doubtwhether this is due to my "charm", until I found they offer thesame kind of smile to others too.
12,礼儀正しさ
日本語には敬語や謙譲語があり、話す相手や場面によって使い分けないといけない。言葉だけでなく会釈、表情などの礼儀作法に特別に注意を払いながら会話をしている。特に魅力的なのは笑顔である。どこのお店でもお客に対して店員は笑顔で対応してくれるので、自分はそんなに魅力的な人間なのかと勘違いしてしまうこともあるが、お客に対して笑顔で対応することは日本では普通なことである。
13、理性
真正与日本人打交道以后，我发现他们普遍情商较高、思维严密、讲逻辑、讲事实的。我与日本人的沟通非常通畅，没有误解，也不会担心他们“感情受到伤害”或者产生情感冲突。他们普遍情绪稳定，不容易冲动。相反，我与中国人交往时却要担心这些问题，虽然我打交道的中国人应该是受过良好教育、相对层次比较高的人。但他们还是常常出现感情脆弱、情绪不稳现象。
对于中日关系，或者日本人对中国人的看法，我了解的情况是，大多数日本人是比较理性、客观、友好的，他们并没有中国那么多“愤青”。日本反华的右翼也只是极少数派。
当然，日本的媒体也不是以反华为主调的，虽然中国媒体以反日为主调。
13, Rational
Afterso much contact with the Japanese, I found that they are generally with highEQ, rational thinking, logical, and stick to facts. My communication with theJapanese is very smooth, with no misunderstanding, nor worrying about "hurting their feelings " or causing emotional conflict. They are generallyemotional stabile, not easy to impulse. On the contrary, I have to worry aboutthese issues when dealing with the Chinese people, although I am dealing with theChinese people who are usually well-educated. But they still often appearemotional fragility and instability.
Forthe Sino-Japanese relations, and the Japanese view of the Chinese people, Ifeel that most of the Japanese are rational, objective and friendly. They donot have so much "angry youth" towards China or Chinese. Japan'santi-China's right-wing is only a very few factions of the whole population.
Ofcourse, the majority of Japanese media is not anti-China，although the Chinese media takesanti-Japanese as the main tone.
13,合理的であること
たくさんの日本人と知り合ってから日本人は高い自己管理能力があり建設的で事実に基づいて考え合理的であることに気づいた。日本人とのコミュニケーションはとてもスムーズで誤解や人を傷つける表現を避け感情的に衝突することもない。日本人は感情的になることはなく、情緒を乱すことはない。
日本人とは対照的に、中国人と関わらなければならないとき、高学歴である中国人でさえ感情をむき出しにするところや情緒不安定なところにストレスを感じてしまう。
日中関係において、多くの日本人は道理的かつ客観的で中国人に対し親切である。反中国を主張する若者もそんなにいない。反中国右翼というのは少数派である。そして日本のメディアも反中国ではない。しかし中国のメディアは反日を唱えている。
总结
我们从教科书、报纸、电视上看到的诸多关于日本的宣传可能都只是片面的，甚至是被人刻意选择的，这样得出的对日本的结论往往并不能反映全面的事实。
我认为，学习别人的优点比讽刺别人的缺点对自己更有益。当然，这需要自信。中华民族近几两百年以来已经失去了原有的自信。但我相信，我们正在找回这种自信。
看不到别人的优点，也许是因为自己太优秀，或者自己太愚蠢，但后者往往多于前者。
当然，你可以不相信我的观点，但我希望你亲自去日本看一看吧。
Summary
Itis obvious that our knowledge from the textbooks, newspapers, television onJapan may be only one-sided, or even deliberately selected, so that theconclusions of Japan often do not reflect the comprehensive facts.
Ithink it is more beneficial to learn the merits of others than to the sarcasmof others. Of course, this requires self-confidence. The Chinese nation haslost its original self-confidence in recent two hundred years. But I believethat we are recovering this self-confidence.
Notseeing the advantages of others, may be because one is too excellent, or toostupid, but the latter is often more than the former.

まとめ
教科書に載っている日本、新聞やテレビなどのメディアで報道されている日本については認識や事実に偏りがあり、情報操作されていることもあることから、日本についての理解は事実と異なることが多いと思います。
他者の欠点探しをするよりいいところに目を向けてそこから何かを学ぶことは有意義なことであると私は思います。それには自分に自信がないとできないことですが、中国人はこの200年の間に自信をなくしてしまったかのように思います。しかし我々は自信を取り戻しつつあります。他者のいいところに目を向けないのは傲慢だからかもしくは無知だからか、しばしば後者であることが多いと考えられます。もしあなたが私の意見を信じ難いと思うなら、ぜひ実際に日本に行って見て来てください。
