     Position Highlight:

     Highly qualified individuals at the postdoctoral level will work on research in medical image analysis for pancreatic cancer. The successful candidate will directly collaborate with radiologists and be involved in developing new mathematical and algorithmic models (computer vision, machine learning, and medical image processing & analysis related) and protocols using high-performance machines to study the correlation to clinical outcomes from medical images. The candidate will be involved in a highly productive academic program and multidisciplinary program with excellent future opportunities.

     Required qualifications:

     Ph.D. in computer science, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, or related engineering majors that enable them to build mathematical and algorithmic models on medical images and implement them.

     Mathematical and algorithmic modeling ability (not limited to a specific methodology but experience of machine learning or computer vision is preferred) is required.

     Programming ability (C++, Python, Matlab, or R, etc.) is required.

     Knowledge of basic (bio) statistics is required.

     Basic background of medical images (especially CT) and analysis experience is preferred.

     Responsibilities:

     Learn research techniques that directly relate to the program's scientific projects and goals with appropriate direction and supervision.

     Will participate in the coordination of study participants and developing strategies to recruit to the study

     Plan, conduct and document experiments independently; evaluate and interpret data with guidance; write and publish papers.

     Prepare reports and study finding to present to PI
