     神秘感可能会导致你爱上某个人；你也许会爱上那些正好符合你“爱情地图”的人；你会被那些和你有互补性质的人吸引。

     Helen Fisher海伦·费希尔是一位人类学家和罗格斯大学，专业从事性别差异和演化的情感的研究工作。她在演讲中用幽默的语言阐释了性、浪漫爱情与依赖之间的关系。

     而萧伯纳用不同的方式表达了同样的意思。他说，爱情中的人会夸大一个女人和另外一个女人的差别。而事实也确实是这样的，你就会把全部的关注放在这个人身上；虽然你也可以列出你不喜欢他/她的地方，但对缺点置之不理，全力去爱她/他。就像乔叟说的那样，“爱情是盲目的”

     George Bernard Shaw said it differently. "Love consists of overestimating the differences between one woman and another." And indeed, that's what we do.And then you just focus on this person. You can list what you don't like about them, but then you sweep that aside and focus on what you do. As Chaucer said, "Love is blind."
